Hop Federation | Brewery Upgrade
Client: Hop Federation
Project Type: Commercial, Cost Management, Fit-out, Hospitality
Project Manager: Dan Roberts
Location: Nelson, New Zealand
BPM was engaged to provide our expert services for the installation of a second-hand brewery into upgraded premises at the Hop Federation site. Our focus was on coordination, fit-out planning, and contract administration, working closely with Whakatu Incorporation’s internal teams.
While the building upgrades were managed by Whakatu’s property unit (Whenua) and their consultant PM, BPM ensured smooth coordination across teams and that all consent conditions were fully integrated into the project.
The food unit (Kona) had sourced the brewery equipment and developed concept layouts. BPM took these forward, managing the design development and procuring contractors to deliver the installation.
BPM in collaboration with key stakeholders on behalf of the site, managed:
Coordination with internal teams (Whenua and Kona)
Developing detailed installation-ready designs from initial concepts
Procuring and managing fit-out contractors
Construction management and coordination of fitout contractors
Reviewing and maintaining the project programme
Ensuring compliance with all Resource and Building Consent requirements
The result was a job completed on time and to budget! Hopportunity only knocks once, and we smashed it.
Let’s build something bold. From concept to cold pour, we handle every detail so you can focus on crafting great beer.
