The brand-new Kahurangi gymnasium – named and gifted by mana whenua – will soon offer:
An 800m² indoor court
A nine-metre rock climbing wall
Flexible multi-purpose spaces
Modern changing and amenities areas
Tech-enabled teaching space
This $5 million project is a true team effort – funded by the Ministry of Education and South Wairarapa District Council, supported by mana whenua, built by the skilled crew at Apollo Projects Ltd and with yours truly as PMs!
For BPM, it’s about more than just delivering a building – it’s delivering a taonga that will bring people together, celebrate local identity, and create opportunities for sport and connection for years to come.
