Total Energies Denarau | Yee’s Fiji | Service Station & Mixed-use Commercial Development
Project Type: Commercial, Fuel & Energy, Hospitality, Residential, Infrastructure, Pacific
Project Manager: Dan Bradley Dan Herbison
Client: Yee’s Fiji & TotalEnergies Denarau
Location: Fiji
This development is a mixed-use commercial precinct at Denarau, Fiji, combining a TotalEnergies fuel station with retail, food and beverage, event space and residential apartments on one site.
BPM is project managing Phase 1, project establishment and design validation, on behalf of Yee’s Fiji.
Designed to serve the Denarau community, visitors and passing traffic, the development brings fuel retail, everyday convenience, dining and living together in a single, connected destination.
What’s Being Built:
Fuel Station
A TotalEnergies fuel station anchors the site. Fuel infrastructure is technically complex and safety-critical, so fuels system buildability is assessed from the start of design against the same technical standards BPM has written for bp, Z Energy and NPD.
Mini Supermarket
A convenience-focused mini supermarket serves residents, visitors and customers stopping at the fuel station.
Restaurant, Diner & Commercial Kitchen
A restaurant and diner is supported by a commercial kitchen, where operational flow, equipment coordination and food-grade compliance matter as much as the build itself.
Boardroom & Event Spaces
Dedicated boardroom and event spaces give the precinct a business and community function beyond retail and dining.
Residential Apartments
Residential apartments complete the mixed-use mix and bring a living component to the development.
Denarau is one of Fiji’s best-known hospitality and lifestyle destinations, close to Nadi and the international airport. A development here has to serve a mix of local residents, visitors and travellers, so the project needs to work for all of them.
BPM’s Role
BPM is providing project management for Phase 1 and is the single point of accountability across project establishment and design validation. We work alongside the client, a Design Lead and specialist consultants, and bring together project management, cost management and design coordination under one team.
BPM is leading:
The project terms of reference, objectives and constraints
The project plan and programme
Identification and prequalification of the consultant team
Review and coordination of expert reports, so nothing surfaces mid-project that should have been flagged on day one
Budget and cost planning, risk management, and reporting to the Project Control Group
Our “all in, no surprises” approach means risk, budget and programme are managed from the first day, ahead of design development, procurement and construction.
BPM brings direct Pacific experience, including the fit-out of a new tenancy floor for the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment in Suva, which gave us first-hand knowledge of Fiji’s contractors, supply chain and market pricing. That experience sits alongside our fuel infrastructure work for NPD, Z Energy, Allied Petroleum and bp, including New Zealand’s first bp EVO Gigahub, and our hospitality and food and beverage delivery for Restaurant Brands and Miramar Golf Club.
